Sad news coming to me just now.  Rory Burke, who propped for Munster, Connaught, Nottingham and Cork Cork, has passed away suddenly at the age of thirty.
Rory, who also played for C.B.C. and had ten Ireland U 20 caps, began his rugby as a mini player with Old Christians.
A lovely lad, who along with his dad Paul,  "haunted" Rathcooney when under age.
Although destined to be a prop, he fancied himself as an out half and spent a lot of time practicing his kicking. (I have a video somewhere.)
Our deepest sympathies to his wife Sarah, parents Paul and Karen and his extended family.

Ar dheis Dé go rairh a anam dílis.
