We note with sadness the passing of Teresa Canavan Ballyvolane, mother to Club Past President, Claire O'Brien and grandmother of Club member Jessica.

CANAVAN (Ballyvolane, Cork & formerly of Bohermore, Galway); On January 29th, 2025, peacefully, in the presence of her daughter Claire at Brookfield Care Centre, Leamlara, TERESA (née Tierney), Aran, Woodview, Ballyvolane, dearly loved wife of Patrick (for 67yrs), and wonderful loving mum of John, Brian, Colette (McGovern), Clare (O’Brien) and great affectionate nan to Keith, Sarah, Alice, Ella, Jessica, Andrew, Charlie and Stephanie and loving sister of the late Ann.

Sadly missed by her soulmate Patrick and family, loving mother-in-law to Joan, Martin, Claire, Mitchell and Frank, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, good friends and neighbours.
Reposing at the Mayfield Funeral Home, Old Youghal Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd; On Friday (January 31st) from 2.30pm to 3.30pm.
Requiem Mass at 10.00am on Saturday (February 1st) in St. Olivers Church, Ballyvolane which can be viewed
Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully.
