'Mick Sul', was already an established Junior Player when I first joined in 72/73 and he still turns up from time to time in Rathcooney.

On a sadder note, we hear of the passing  of Dr. Brendan Clune in Dublin. 
Brendan, known as 'Fada' Clune from his school days was the wing on the 73/74 Dennehy Cup winning team, the third member of that team to pass away, (John Morrissey and Pascal Hedderman), with the last six months or so.

Dr Brendan Clune (Harold Cross, Dublin and Douglas, Cork). 12th December 2025. Peacefully, after a brave battle at St Doolagh’s Park Care and Rehabilitation Centre surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Conor and Pat Clune. Beloved husband to Karen, father of Anna and Fiona. Brendan will be greatly missed by his brothers Paul and Conor, his aunt Sr Leoine Boland, sisters-in-law Yvonne, Deirdre, Jennifer, Mandy, Nicola and Maireanne, brothers-in-law Jimmy and Gavin, nieces, nephews, extended family, close circle of friends and colleagues.

Reposing at his home on Monday (15th December) from 4pm until 6pm. Arriving Tuesday morning 16th December to the Church of St Paul of the Cross, Mount Argus for Funeral Mass at 11:30am followed by cremation in the Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium. 

 

 Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Acquired Brain Injury Ireland.
