A really good game yesterday in what was a tough and competitive contest. 💪

Our team were playing a year up, but they were well in the fight throughout and showed fantastic determination, effort and team spirit against a strong Dungarvan / Waterpark side.

There were plenty of positives across the team, with some excellent carries, strong defence, great work at the breakdown and some brilliant steals. The team created several opportunities to get over the line and continued to battle right to the final whistle.

Playing on a greasy pitch made things challenging, but thankfully the rain held off and the team continued to play some really good rugby in difficult conditions.

A 24–32 defeat, but a performance to be proud of from a team competing a year above their age. Plenty of positives to take forward! 👏
