This week saw the return of the Munster Rugby School of Excellence ,
Old Christian’s RFC had a strong contingent of players attend the camp the camp was aimed at youth boys aged 13-16.
All players enjoyed a week-long structured rugby development programme which included core skill development, game understanding, position-specific training, appropriate strength and conditioning training and teamwork.
Throughout the week the players received top class coaching from Munster Rugby coaches, while guest speakers presented education modules on athletic development, mental skills and wellbeing, nutrition, and rugby performance, which are all vital for the stars of the future.
This camp all took place in an enjoyable but challenging environment where players where encouraged to develop their all-round rugby ability and to learn the values that make Munster unique in the rugby world.
