Another Saturday morning, another hive of activity around the club with the Rhinos taking part in their training sessions.
The weather stayed dry and fair and the coaches got their players going with plenty of activity and games.
Afterwards parents and players popped into the Club Cafe for well deserved refreshments and some stayed on to watch the U15's and U18.5's take on CBC on the Palm and Main pitches.
Here's the round up from each group:
- Minis Girls
The girls trained Tuesday evening on the Astro pitch. Weather was a lot more hospitable this week with lovely autumn sunshine accompanying the session. The focus this week was on catch pass with some evasion. They began by passing tennis balls around to each other which focused them on pointing their hands to the target. They progressed into the chain game to work on their evasion skills and then onto a game of tag rugby to keep them focused on catch pass. We finished the session with a game of rugby rounders to zap the last of the energy. A fun session had by all.
- Under 6's and Under 7's
Great session with the U7, much fun had playing stuck in the mud, roller bulldog, sharks & fishes β¦ we finished with a match and plenty of smiles!
- Under 8's
Under 8 had there first tast of tackling today and loved it π₯π₯ also continued with a few pass and catch games. Great bunch and numbers still increasing
