We had our 2nd pre-season game on Saturday when CBC stepped in at short notice after our game on Tuesday was called off

While the result didn't go our way today the improvement on the previous day was very evident.

Like all preseason games it's about getting up to match fitness and trying different things especially that this panel have really only came together in the last month or so,up against a schools team

While we lost the lads put up a great performance going in at half time 17-12 up

A couple of lapses of concentration and couple of missed tackles cost us and with a small bit of luck we could have scored a couple of tries and it would have been a different game.

But the willingness of the team to keep going right to the end will stand to us as the season progresses

We start our South Munster League campaign on Saturday 17th away to Kinsale KO 11.30.
