The J1s travelled to Cobh tonight to play their second friendly of the new season.
The home team provided a sterner test than last weeks opposition.

We got off to a bright start with Rob Mckenna scoring the only try of the first half after five minutes.

Unfortunately we were forced into making changes through injuries and this allowed Cobh to get more into the game.

The home team got two late tries in this low scoring game to win 10 ,5.

Another step up tonight in the preparation for the new season,

which starts on Sunday week 11/09 at home to Muskerry in the Couny Cup.
