Our J2 team had their first runout against Douglas J1s on Friday night last, in a friendly under lights at home.

Our young side started well ,scoring two early tries from. Daniel Kelleher and Ruari Casey, one converted by Tadgh O Brien. Douglas drew level before Daniel O Brien scored a try and Tadgh O Brien added the conversion.

Douglas brought on some of their more experienced players at half time and dominated the second half and ran in four converted tries ,to leave the final score 19- 40 to the away team.

A lot of credit must go to our lads, many of whom are playing adult rugby for the first time.
