Well done today all.

To be fair conditions could not have been more difficult with wind, rain, hail and even tried to snow at one stage, making handling and continuity very tough. Considering we had 3 lads playing first competitive game (well done Andrew, Josh, and Emmanuel). losing Adam very early didn't help and added to all the other injuries, it's a credit to the squad the great effort made and we looked very capable at times.

Scoreline not a fair reflection of the game in general but we must stop giving away soft scores (at start and end of first half) as was the difference today.

Scrum and lineout vastly improved today. Keep varying same and protect 9 better and we will keep improving. Also improved rucktime as game wore on after being a little slow to react early, Aidan to fore as always. Tough day for backs to shine but back 3 scrambled well on defence often under a lot of pressure. Several players shining on both sides of ball; Ben F, Brian, Paudy, Aaron, Zach L, Sean,but must keep protecting go forward ball and let tries come. Louis had great game keeping them honest around ruck and finding impressive new kicking shoes!

All in all a good step in right direction in tough conditions. Must keep in mind though .. for future weeks .. tackling a 15/23 man thing. One missed tackle makes it easy for them and tough for us so must all take personal responsibility to make each one.
