Rhinos Roundup

And so we draw to the the end of October. The ground is softer, the evenings are upon us faster but that doesn't stop the Rhinos on the weekends!

A mixture of training and matches over the weekend with Cobh Pirates paying the under 9's and under 10's a visit in Rathcooney.

Also some spooky characters spotted around the club with the under 8's being coached by the clown from IT and the Joker from batman. There were some witches and zombies spotted around the cafe. Oíche Shamhna is upon us.

Under 6's and Under 7's

A spooky session today for the u7’s🎃some of the children dressed up in the spirit of Halloween a quick warm up with Rugby says / stretching then on to concentrating on fundamental movements and holding and catching the ball.

They did so well Rhinos were treated to a lucky dip treat from a cauldron in the Clubhouse after the seshion. 🧙

Under 9's

The under 9’s hosted Cobh in their first home match of the season. We had 2 teams on day with 24 players taking part. The games were very physical, which the squad thrived on. They worked hard all morning supporting each other in the break down and some fantastic hand work was on display, a pleasure to watch. They were rewarded after with a spooky 👻 feast in the clubhouse.

Under 10's

The Under 10's hosted Cobh on the palms. A competitive and physical game where players put their skills on show. Afterwards both sets of players enjoyed some well earned refreshments in the clubhouse.
