While there was a reprieve in the rain on Saturday, there were two matches at home this week for the U11 and U12 groups and the rest of the minis trained. On Sunday, the Girls minis had an away blitz in Dungarvan.
Here is the roundup from the groups:
Girls Minis
The Girls only Minis played their first blitz away, hosted by Dungarvan RFC. A great morning of rugby. More pics in a separate article to mark the occasion.
Under 6's and Under 7's
Rhinos started with a new fun warm up game today called volcanoes and ice creams, running around flipping cones!
We then got in two groups, the U6 had bibs and did some passing relays (rolling the ball/passing the ball), roller bulldog, stuck in the mud and ended with some fun kicking practice!
U7 group did Piggy in the Middle, Dynamic chain / Chain tag, Waves 4 x 4 passing grid and finishing with a fun game of Rob the Nest!
Another great session and positive rugby experience for all๐
Under 11's
U11s vs Cork Con at Home. The home side had a convincing win over the visitors. Great morning of rugby.
