The Old Christians girls minis hit a major milestone as they played in their first blitz which was hosted by Dungarvan RFC.
It was an early start to the Sunday morning with plenty precipitation on the journey down across the Blackwater to the crystal county.
The Old Christians girls, joined with some players from Carrick on Suir, played four matches against Dungarvan, Cobh Pirates, Fethard and Midleton/Youghal.
This was the first competitive game for the players, so some unfamiliarity but as the games went on they were passing and tackling extremely well.
A big thank you to Cliona, Jill and all the volunteers in Dungarvan RFC for a very well organised blitz.
But the special thanks goes to the players. They did themselves and their club extremely proud.
