Waterpark 23 Old Christians 17

The J1s were on the road on Sunday travelling to Waterford to play Waterpark.

In very wet conditions, we played against a strong wind in the first half, which the home team made the most of and led 10 nil at half time. Unfortunately the more experienced home team scored a penalty early in the second half and another converted try after 15 minutes to leave us 20 points down.

Credit must go to our lads who kept battleling and went over to score two tries from Cian Smith and Conor Dolan, both converted by Conor, as well as kicking a penalty.

Another disappointing day for the lads ,just coming up short in a physical encounter but came away with a losing bonus point.

No game next week, huge home game v Abbeyfeale on the 27th November.
