We played Youghal away in a friendly last Saturday

We were missing 7 through holidays and injury so the panel size was tested and had 17 players on the day

With a new mixture of players and positions it was always going to be tough to get up to speed but all credit to the lads the worked hard to gel and apart for a few mistakes really took the game to them.

We had most of the terrority and were held up over the line on two occasions.

We kept up the same pressure but a break from them went the lenght of the pitch for 7 very much against the run of play

After this more of the same from us but this time we we made it count with Brian going in under the posts to level up the game.

Start of second half they came back at us but we defended well and kept them scoreless.

As the half wore on we got back on top and two tries from Josh and Oisin put us 7-17 up and we held out till the last play to end the game 14-17

It was a good work out for us,with no match for the last couple of weeks, and is good prep for our ¼ final in a couple of weeks

Also a mention for Kevin on his debut for us coming in for Darragh through injury
