We played our semi final in the South Munster Development Cup today,away to Youghal, and after a tough battle came out on the right side of the result.

We had a difficult couple of weeks since our Munster Final win with the weather,illness and the serious injury to our captain,Conor to contend with.

Thankfully Conor is on his road to recovery and we wish him all the best on that journey.

They started well and put us under pressure but after the first 10 mins our rustiness went and we started to play something like we can.

Two trys 1 each from Ben F and Darragh with Ben O C adding a conversion and a penalty to their unconverted try.

Then Johnny B scored a great try from 35m out brushing off 3/4 Youghal players on his way.

Second half they had the slope and attacked but our defence was excellent but eventually pressure told and a couple of tries made the game interesting.

But then Seanie D stepped up and scored a try,from nothing, a long way out as only Seanie can do that sealed the win.
