U16 Plate Final OCRFC 29-14Youghal

The boys turned on the style Wednesday evening to bring the South Munster Development plate home to Rathcooney. It ways always going to be a tough battle against a good Youghal side, but the lads showed their steel yesterday. Our go forward play was top drawer stuff with big performances all over the pitch. Our breakdown was excellent with support players coming in thick and fast, quick ruck ball ensured we kept the pressure up, big clean outs, pop passes, offloads it was all there. Our defence was excellent with key turnovers when it counted. A brilliant squad performance and what a way to sign off the season.

Finally, A big thanks and best wishes to Shane and Ryan Kavanagh (and family) who depart for Kanturk at the end of the season, great servants and ambassadors for the club, both will be sorely missed.
