We played our second game in the Pan Munster Phase 1 league away to Muskerry on Saturday last.

This is always a tough away game for us and Saturday was no different.

Unlike the last few games we were slow to start and gave up a try in the 1st 5 mins.

That woke us up and we started to get into the game and were rewarded with a great try in the corner from Mark.

Another couple of missed tackles let them back in for the full 7 but that try seem to concentrate the lads and from then till half time we scored good trys from Darragh, Brian both converted by Sammy to leave the half time score 12-22

Second half they came back at us and with a unconverted try again as a result of slack defending but another penalty from Ben kept the scoreline nicely in our favour.

They got another try and added the 2 to put the minimum between the sides.

By this time our tackling and defence had improved and some big hits by us held them out till Oisin intercepted on our 10m line and touched down under the posts with Ben adding the 2 leaving the final score 24-32

Great to win this tough away game and sets us up nicely for the rest of this Phase of the Pan Munster.

Next game in this is at home to Dolphin/Carrigaline on 21st of Oct(time and date TBC)
