We played our 1st u18½ Development game of the season on Sunday.

This is basically a 17 team with the younger u18 included.

As it was the 1st game we didn't know what to expect with a new team and new combinations but we knew very soon after the start we were going to be alright.

Tight at first but they got 2 trys against the run of play to go 10 pts up

But all credit to the lads they stuck at it and a penalty from Sammy got us on the board followed by a try from Brian with Sammy adding the 2 to leave the ½ time score

Second half much the same they scored a couple of converted trys and we replied with 2 from Sean 1 from his own half and of his own making with Ben touching down in-between to make the score 27-24

Near the end they got in for a 5 pointer and with the final play of the game we got a penalty 35m out that Sammy knocked over to take the win by 1 pt.

Great display from 1-20 with some having their 1st starts and all did a great job especially those that played in new positions.
