Old Christian’s RFC hosted a south Munster mini’s U10 blitz on Saturday

We welcomed over 170 kids with 14 teams participating from the following clubs on the day , Cork Con ,Dolphin RFC , Fermoy RFC ,Highfield RFC , Kanturk RFC , Midelton RFC & Old Christian’s RFC

On a cold December morning the teams entertained the spectators with some fast paced physical rugby 🏉 the future is bright for Munster rugby with the talent was on show from all teams on the day,

The matches were 8-a-side with seven minutes halves and rolling substitutions included most teams played 5 matches on the morning.

After the blitz the children and supporters where treated to some hot food Kindly supported by club sponsor O’Reillys Fish and chips in Glanmire and treats supplied by Lidl Glanmire & Ryan’s SuperValu Glanmire this was a well earned and pleasant surprise for the participants

The event was a major success with a lot of positive feedback from travelling teams and supporters and would not of been made possible with the support from the club volunteers on the morning 👏
