We played Mitchelstown on Friday in a development friendly
With a number of players moving up to u18½ from u16 these games are important for the lads to get gametime at this age level and also to gel with the older lads.
Even though with the lads playing out of position and new combinations all over the pitch it was good to see them settling down quickly and putting Mitchelstown under pressure from the start and ran in a few of quick tries .
Credit to Mitchelstown they stuck at it and were rewarded with a try late in the 1st half
Much of the same for the 2nd half with us well on top running in 5 more tries to their 1.
Good run out on a free weekend and plenty for the coaches to think about going forward.
Try scores
Liam Kelleher, Ciaran Roche, Oisin Purdy, Brian Cassin, Liam Hadlow, Rhys Cambridge, Oscar o Connor,
with Ciaran knocking over conversions
Leaving it 41-12
Next game
Pan Munster v Mallow at home
(Day and time Tbc)
