U14 sign off the season on a high note by bringing the Munster plate back to Rathcooney to take its side next to the Munster league trophy.

We faced a hugely competitive Dunmanway RFC team who played brilliantly throughout this contest.

We started well and led 12-5 at the break. But this game was in the melting pot until the very last play after of the game after a huge and spirited effort from Dunmanway brought then right back into the game and with 2mins left on the clock we somehow found ourselves trailing 19-17. Our skipper Jack Punch asked the lads to dig deep and they duly obliged by working their way up the pitch to a promising position close to the opposition line. A clever snip by Josh Varley doing the final damage and winning the the game with the final whistle to follow.

With this win, it brings a very successful season to and end and we wish to thank all the coaches , players , parents and supporters who contributed each week.

Special mention to the background effort provided to the squad from the club mentors led by Shane Kav, Barry Hill and all the ladies in the Cafe Claire x2 and Michelle.

Final thanks to the parents for getting the lads to us all year.
